Title : Mike Dillard is Right. Create MLM leads the right way.
I have been getting Mike Dillards’ (of Magnetic and Traffic Formula fame) top notch material for many years now. Over the years I’ve purchased most of his stuff.
The note that he sent out this morning was right on the mark. My experience in MLM and online marketing suggest that it is VERY DOABLE for people that really put their mind to it.
Are they really willing to pay the price?. So far in my experience, I would have to agree with Mike Dillard.
The Mike Dillard concept really turns the business “upside down” from the marketing perspective and really is the “only” way to market correctly.
Mike Dillard’s concepts suggest that anyone can be an expert in a topic, and that people will naturally be attracted to the Expert. Now I didn’t want to go into the all of the details of that program, but let’s just suffice it to say that it works.
After studying and implementing this strategy for a few years, I have to say that I am starting to see Exactly what Mike Dillard is trying to point out.
Let me break it down for you into what doesn’t work and explain why. (Now when I say something doesn’t work, that doesn’t mean that it never work(or that it won’t work in certain circumstances. I use words like never, and everyone; don’t necessarily mean never and everyone… but you get the idea) Interesting thing is, even if you do the wrong thing long enough, you will get some results……. I’m just saying fundamentally why these ideas are flawed…
Traffic Exchanges
Basically two things I don’t like about traffic exchanges. The first complaint is that everyone on the traffic exchanges is playing a big game of “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours” The reason that they are on the exchange is to get people to look at their opportunity. They are not trying to get into another program.
Where is the skill, expertise and knowledge in clicking all day?. There is no skill in posting your website, there is no way to show yourself as a highly skilled knowledgeable expert…(none of the “experts” I know use traffic exchanges, except the owners of the traffic exchanges”)
Spend all day sitting in front of your computer clicking on people’s websites? Is that the strategy there?? Over the years I have sponsored a few of these people… and determined, I don’t want those type in my business anyway.? Lets look at it a little deeper… Why are they spending time to do that? I’ll tell you why… They are simply not willing to learn, grow and invest in their business. PERIOD
After making that statement, I can hear the whining begin…. But Keith.. I have no time, no money, no ________, my cat needs a bath…. Then you continue to play in that pond, with all the others that will never get out of that pond. Those people are hobbyist… they will never make true wealth there.
Are you really growing learning and achieving in a traffic exchange? NO.
The fish in that pond are just not biting. The ones that are, probably are not the type you are looking for anyway.
Company Replicated Websites.
Most people are using their company replicated websites incorrectly. Especially if your promoting them through a service like a traffic exchange. If you really want to be branded as the expert, you have to come off as an expert. Most people mistakenly think that their Company is the expert. This just doesn’t work. Again the reason is that their is no skill, ability or “expertise” in getting your companies’ replicated site onto the internet
Of course there is a time and place for your company replicated website, but as a primary promotion tool, it just won’t work. You can’t “lead” with that in your marketing..

Buying Leads
I’ve spent thousands buying leads. Buying leads doesn’t work. Many thoughts come in my into my mind about buying leads. The questions that come to mind for me… Is the lead being resold?? How was it produced? Is the lead a real lead, or are they just “surfing”?. Is the lead incentivized? Is the information even accurate? If the person never responds to me, is that a good lead??
These questions can not be answered favorably by lead companies..
Do it yourself.
Mike Dillard says there really is no lazy man’s way. You MUST put in the work to brand yourself as an expert. If you truly want the things that successful online marketers have, you MUST do the things that sucessful people do.
Are you serious? Are you really ready to embark on a learning curve and implement what you learn?

How does a marketing system really include all of that for such a low cost and also not charg a monthly fee? Isn’t there an on going fee to keep up the changes and tracking for your prospects ? Does Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring System really perform ?
I have the solution to why this system gives so much up for so little. It’s called “Give before want”.
One of the primary teachings of the course is to share and give freely. Show that you can help anyone without wanting something in return. This totally shook my world. Materials in this book actually taught their students to give to those wanting help. Share knowledge and grow others before looking to make a sale. People are not dollar signs.
This totally took me by surprise and didn’t really sink in until I finished the book 2 days after receiving it.
So of course the big question is: Does it work? I can respond only to this by saying:

Why maybe? Well, I would like to relate this to someone buying a sports vehicle . The sports car is capable of high speeds and a fun ride. Put this in the hands of someone who can’t drive or drives 20 mph under the limit really puts things into perspective. This is a tool. Tools are only as good as the operator. I first experienced this first hand while working with machinist. They have thousand dollar machines but if the programmer and operator are not trained well my engineering parts will not come out without a high scrap percentage. This tool does give you all the nuts and bolts to build a system to attract thousands but then again it does depend on many factors. So ask yourself this: Is time or money more important? You can reach more people using paid methods or your can spend more time doing free methods.
The true measure of someone being able to excel using Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring falls squarely on his or her own shoulders. A true student of magnetic sponsoring will continue to grow and learn.
A true student of Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring class will understand the need to become the Leader. In doing so, the successful student understands the entire teaching of attraction marketing is to position them for success which means the STUDENT MUST be the FIRST contact. Only until all leads are first presented to the student will there be successful branding. If all the traffic goes to the magnetic sponsoring capture page, where does that leave the student?
