Mike Dillard And Magnetic Sponsoring

How does a marketing system really include all of that for such a low cost and also not charg a monthly fee? Isn't there an on going fee to keep up the changes and tracking for your prospects ? Does Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring System really perform ?

I have the solution to why this system gives so much up for so little. It's called "Give before want".

One of the primary teachings of the course is to share and give freely. Show that you can help anyone without wanting something in return. This totally shook my world. Materials in this book actually taught their students to give to those wanting help. Share knowledge and grow others before looking to make a sale. People are not dollar signs.

This totally took me by surprise and didn't really sink in until I finished the book 2 days after receiving it.

So of course the big question is: Does it work? I can respond only to this by saying:

Maybe

Why maybe? Well, I would like to relate this to someone buying a sports vehicle . The sports car is capable of high speeds and a fun ride. Put this in the hands of someone who can't drive or drives 20 mph under the limit really puts things into perspective. This is a tool. Tools are only as good as the operator. I first experienced this first hand while working with machinist. They have thousand dollar machines but if the programmer and operator are not trained well my engineering parts will not come out without a high scrap percentage. This tool does give you all the nuts and bolts to build a system to attract thousands but then again it does depend on many factors. So ask yourself this: Is time or money more important? You can reach more people using paid methods or your can spend more time doing free methods.

The true measure of someone being able to excel using Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring falls squarely on his or her own shoulders. A true student of magnetic sponsoring will continue to grow and learn.

A true student of Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring class will understand the need to become the Leader. In doing so, the successful student understands the entire teaching of attraction marketing is to position them for success which means the STUDENT MUST be the FIRST contact. Only until all leads are first presented to the student will there be successful branding. If all the traffic goes to the magnetic sponsoring capture page, where does that leave the student?

Still a student of course.

Become a –> LEADER

Study the free 7 day video boot camp course . Dive into the printed manual. Study the additional information in the backoffice like How select a Domain Name -MLM Domain Secrets Ebook.

To break out of that shell the student must build their own marketing system and there is only ONE self branded marketing system based on Magnetic Sponsoring.

Effective Trademarks - How To Select A Good Name

Your trademark is the most important asset your business will ever own. A good trademark will distinguish you from the competition and help you stand out in a crowd. A poor trademark will entangle you in legal disputes and blunt your marketing efforts. Selecting a good trademark is as simple as following the following guidelines.

1. Avoid Trademarks that cannot be Registered. There is no point investing in a trademark that you can’t register. Registering the mark protects it from competitors, ensures your ownership rights in the mark and makes it easier to enforce your rights against copy cats. As you will read below, certain types of words are inherently poor choices for inclusion in a trademark because they cannot be registered.

2. Avoid Purely Descriptive Words. Words which describe the nature or quality of the goods or services sold with the mark are not permitted to be registered. Hence, the mark “Cold Beer” for use with malt beverages cannot be registered because it describes the actual product being sold. If registered, it would prevent anyone from using the terms Cold and Beer to describe their malt beverage.

3. Avoid Surnames. Surnames cannot be registered as trademarks. Hence the mark “Wilson Power Boats” is a poor choice for a trademark because the word Wilson is a surname (and the rest of the mark is descriptive).

4. Avoid Confusing Trademarks. A trademark which is confusingly similar to a registered trademark cannot be registered. Hence, the mark “Sun-Screen” cannot be registered if the trademark “Sun Screen” has already been registered for a similar type of product. A search of the US Trademarks Database (www.upto.gov.) and/or the Canadian Trademarks Database (www.cipo.gc.ca) is a good idea.

5. Avoid Generic Words in a Trademark. The goal is to select a trademark which is as unique and distinctive as possible; therefore, avoid generic words. Examples of generic terms include “green, superior, Canadian, American, deluxe, gold, premium, economy,” and a plethora of others. These words are generic and if you incorporate them into your trademark, you ensure that you blend into the crowd, not stand out in front of it. Geographic words fall into this category.

6. Avoid TLA’s (Three Letter Acronyms) and Numbers. IBM, ATT, and CNN are distinctive trademarks because their respective owners poured tens of millions of dollars into making the marks famous. Even a poor trademark can be made famous if you through enough money at it. But acronyms are intrinsically difficult to remember, while words, especially colorful words, are easily remembered. Hence “ELS Software Solutions” is not as memorable as “Volcanic Silicon.” Likewise, avoid using numbers in a trademark as they tend to be less memorable. Furthermore, there are a limited number of unused acronyms available, so there is an excellent chance that your TLA will be confused with someone else’s.

7. Do use invented words. Invented words are words which do not exist in any language, apart from your trademark. Examples include Spandex, Exxon, Kodak, Viagra, and several other famous trademarks. Invented words are a good choice for use as trademarks because they are not descriptive and they tend to be quite distinctive. You can create an invented word by simply combining parts of other words. For example, Microsoft is a combination of “Micro computer” and “software.”

8. Try animal or plant names. Animal and plant names tend to be quite memorable and, if used appropriately, can convey a good image while still being distinctive. Apple Computers is a good example, but other examples include Tiger Direct, Ford Mustang, and countless others.

Finally, make sure that the first word in your trademark is as distinctive as possible. It is often necessary to add descriptive words to the trademark in order to convey what is being sold or marketed in association with the mark. If generic words must be included then it is doubly important to ensure that the first word of the mark is as distinctive and unique as possible.

What Is FDI - Financial Freedom With Missing A Key Piece?

So what exactly is Financial Destination Inc, and what exactly is the missing ingredient to building a profitable business from the comfort of your home ?

Before we venture in that important question lets go ahead and get the basics to this unique company.

FDi stands for Financial Destination Inc and is a privately held corporation founded in June 2003 by William Andreoli. Headquarters are located in Windham, New Hampshire which is only 30 miles from Boston, Massachusetts.

Services:

Financial Concierge Services Include:

EquityTrax, CreditTrax, MoneyTrax, First Class Retirement, First Class Family Legal, Dental, Vision, First Class Travel, LifeLock , Discount Pharmacy

Personal Concierge Service:

Anything from Dinner Reservations to helping your child with homework now Everyone can have a Personal Assistant. First and only VIP personal and financial concierge company and it's free with membership!

So with so many benefits and features, what about the feature and benefits for building a business…. Online?

Like so many other successful network marketing companies, Financial Destination fails to properly train the representative on HOW to properly promote your own business online. Delivering a company replicated website is NOT an Internet Marketing plan.

A good Internet marketing plan should consist at a bare minimum of educating the home business owner on HOW to properly build their own business online using techniques like blogging, ppc, Facebook/myspace, twitter, and many others. Of course to No fault of FDi to NOT teach this because when there are so many distributors running around there is bound to be a lawsuit waiting to happen when those new to the business over promise or start breaking rules they are unaware of.

So to protect their business from new reps or those with low moral values, FDi has no choice but to NOT teach these types of marketing techniques.

This is where a Fdi savvy enough to understand the power of the Internet steps in . Those with the foresight to teach themselves on correctly promoting their home business online will have an audience that is essentially thousands more than their own personal social circle of influence.

There is the surefire way to building a FDi business without chasing leads or prospects.

Do You Have What It Takes To Succeed In Direct Sales?

Do You Have What It Takes To Succeed In Direct Sales?

You’re so excited. You just had an awesome party for your favorite skin care or home décor products and your consultant knows you’d be perfect at being a consultant too. After all you just had the best show she’s had in 6 months. That must mean you’re cut out to do direct sales, right? Well… maybe.

Before you go diving into joining a direct sales company, there are a few things you need to ask yourself. You’ll then find out if you are ready to make direct sales a way of life and really make a successful career out of it. After all, you wouldn’t want to invest in something that isn’t right for you, right?

Sit down with a pen and paper. Jot each of the following questions down. Then, think about the honest answer for each one. The answers should be true for where you are right now in life and your current situation.

I’m not trying to discourage you from starting a career as a direct sales consultant. I’m trying to help you see the areas you may need to work on while building your career and help you avoid a possible costly mistake. Believe me. I’ve made them and I hate to see others do the same when it could be avoided altogether. What should you ask yourself before making the jump into direct sales?

1. Do I have the time, right now in my schedule needed to work and build my business? I know too many times a recruiter will tell you they only work a couple of hours a week and make hundreds of dollars. While their actual shows or parties may only take a couple of hours a week, you must consider the set up time, the bookkeeping time, driving time, organization time, meeting time, etc.

When you account for all of those things that are necessary to make a direct sales business opportunity successful, do you, right now, have the time for that? Do you work another job full time or part time? Do you have a family that obviously requires nurturing and caring for? Do you attend church regularly or belong to other organizations that take up some of your time? Okay, that’s more than one question, but you need to consider all of these things when accounting for what free time you have available.

2. Do I absolutely LOVE the products I will be selling? Are you 100% sold out? Do you already tell your friends and family about it and essentially “sell” them on it? One of my biggest pet peeves is to have a consultant who really isn’t sure about the product themselves. Maybe they got in because of the lure of working only a couple of hours a week and making a ton of money doing so. Perhaps they were looking for a way to make more money and their recruiter made it so appealing to them by saying, “This product will sell itself, you don’t even have to try. Once a person tries it or sees it, they will buy it”.

I know I’ve fallen for those words myself. You must truly know your product and love it. I can’t sell something I don’t love. I just don’t feel right about it. It’s like I’m lying. I know I don’t LOVE every single product I’ve sold for a particular company, but I loved the main product or the products that were right for me (i.e. my skin type), but you must love the products you are using, and you should use them yourself.

3. Am I driven and motivated? Do you have the desire deep in your heart to really work your business? Are you a goal setter and strive to always reach your goals when you set them? I believe that in order to be successful at anything, you must have a long term goal and short term goals that will help get to your long term goal.

Is the nice car your long term goal? What do you have to do to earn it? Earn x amount of sales or recruit x amount of people? What are you going to do to get your first recruit, your second and so on? How are you going to motivate your down line to success? How many shows do you have to hold a week to reach the ultimate dollar amount in sales to earn the car? Are you ready and motivated to do this? Is it your desire to be able to quit your job and work from home full time in direct sales? Then you’re going to have to work twice as hard. You’ll need to work your full time job and work your direct sales business in the evenings or on weekends until you can afford to leave your current job.

4. Can I speak to a group of people? Do you have the ability to talk in front of a group of people? If you are shy and timid, certainly you can overcome shyness, but if you have trouble standing in front of a group and speaking, how are you going to hold shows, parties and presentations?

You will want to work on overcoming your shyness before diving into a network marketing opportunity. You can practice by holding shows for your close friends and family, which is where you usually start anyway. Another way to help you overcome shyness is by reading books about building your confidence or public speaking.

Once you sit down with and ask yourself these questions and answer them honestly, you will know whether you have what it takes to be a success in direct sales. As you answer them, you may find you are qualified in some areas, but not all. If this is the case, then maybe you do have what it takes to be successful at starting a direct sales business, while working on one or two of the other areas to give your business the kick it really needs to be a success.

Be honest with yourself, determine which characteristics you already possess and determine which ones you need to work on and go from there. And don’t let a recruiter convince you otherwise. Sit down with your hubby or best friend and ask them how they would answer these questions about you. You don’t have to make a decision on the spot and a good recruiter will give you the time you need to really consider these things. A good recruiter will want you to succeed because it will help them be more successful as well

5 Mistakes That Will Kill Your Network Marketing Business

Starting a home business through network marketing can be rewarding and fun. Having control over your work schedule, not having a boss to answer to (unless you have a wife…lol), and doing something you really enjoy are all great incentives to work from home.

But being your own boss takes a lot of work, discipline, and patience. In this article we’ll cover five mistakes you definitely don’t want to make if you want to continue working from home.

1. Not taking it seriously – it’s easy to get started in network marketing. You simply choose a company (hopefully after doing some research), pay the required fee (all legitimate network marketing businesses will require a fee), and you’re ready to go.

No experience needed.

Because of the ease of entry most people find it difficult to take their business seriously. They’re often lured in by overzealous representatives promising huge rewards for minimal effort.

It’s an enticing offer for a better quality life but not a very accurate one. Success takes time, discipline, and effort.

You have to be disciplined enough to dedicate yourself to doing what has to be done rather than what you’d like to be doing. This means turning off the television during the day, putting off running errands until your work is done, not taking a nap…you get the idea. Treat it like a business and it will pay you like a business, treat it like a hobby and it will cost you like a hobby.

It’s just as important however, to reward yourself when completing a task as it is actually performing it. Giving yourself an incentive for completing a task is often motivation enough to do it.

2. Neglecting Personal Development – most people aren’t mentally prepared for the adversity they’ll face when they try to build their business. If you want to grow into the leader you were meant to be you’ll need to learn to discipline your disappointments.

Friends and family that aren’t supportive, prospects who say they’re interested in your business but don’t show up for your meeting, and team members who quit are just a few of the disappointments every network marketer faces at some point. How you respond to those disappointments will determine the type of leader you will become.

The foundation of success is found in your mind. You must initiate a paradigm shift in your thinking that will help you create new habits and behaviors and there are several easy ways to do that:

• Start associating with positive, successful people
• Read 10-20 pages of positive, inspirational material every day
• Listen to 15-30 minutes of positive, uplifting audio each day

Developing into a leader takes time but it’s necessary if you’re going to lead your organization. Others will be looking to you for guidance and direction and if you’re not able to provide what they need they’ll look elsewhere for it.

3. Expecting overnight riches – we want it all and we want it now. From instant coffee, to instant messages we’ve become a society intolerant of patience.

All too often we impart that same level of impatience to our home business. We want success, riches, and time freedom and we want it now!

It’s not entirely your fault though. With ads such as, “I made $15,000 my first week and you can too!”, or “Easily make $100,000 a year with my proven system!”, it’s easy to see how a person can be lured into thinking the money comes easy.

News Flash! The money doesn’t come easy. Sure, there’s the occasional, rare individual who makes that kind of money but it’s comparable to winning the lottery. The vast majority of the time it simply doesn’t work that way.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and your fortune won’t be either. That’s not to say however that you can’t be successful. Riches can be yours but you must first master discipline and patience.

4. Not having a website – we live in the information age. People now have the ability to research anything they desire simply by going online. That includes your business opportunity. Having a website allows them to connect with you and your home business without making a commitment.

Working from home is no longer limited by geographical location. Through the internet we now have the ability to conduct business globally and there’s no faster way to share your business with the world than through a website.

Having a web presence is also the most affordable way to market your opportunity. Your website is up 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year communicating your message to the world for very little cost.

And finally, your website adds credibility to your business in the eyes of your customers. Even if you’re just starting out, having a website can give your potential prospects the perception that you’re much bigger than you are.

5. No marketing plan – now that you’ve started your home based business how do you plan on getting the word out about it? Many businesses, both traditional and home based, fail due to lack of planning and goal setting.

Simply put, if you don’t have a marketing plan, you don’t have a business. It’s the foundation on which your business is built. It means the difference between success and failure.

A good marketing plan defines your target market and proper execution of the plan allows you to build a list of quality prospects for your business. Without the means to attract a targeted audience you will find it extremely difficult to make a living regardless of the company you represent.

Your marketing plan should also be flexible. Flexibility allows you to keep up with changes in technology, society, fashion, customer and market demands, etc. It’s also a good indicator of whether you’re on target and if you’re capable of reaching your goals. If not, adjust your plan accordingly and if you’re on target or surpassing your goals you can adjust your plan to meet the increased demands on your business.

If you have no idea what it takes to run a home business (which most people don’t so don’t feel bad) then you could benefit from reading this great free guide, A Guide To Working At Home.

In it you’ll discover how to prepare yourself for business ownership, the challenges involved, financing, advice on balancing family and your business, and tons of other great tips.

Stay focused on why you started your business. Distractions will come often and in large numbers. If you’re aware of them it will be easier for you to keep your mind on the task at hand.

Above all have fun and never give up.

Start A Web Log

6 Ideas for Viral Marketing

Here are six ideas to help you start your viral marketing campaign:

1. Purchase the branding rights to a viral E-book. Allow people to give away your free E-book to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also give it away. This will just continue to spread your ad all over the Internet.

2. If you have the ability to set up a forum or other bulletin board, you really have a great tool. Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own website. Some people don't have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board.

3. Do you have a knack for web design? Create some templates, graphics, etc. and upload them to your site. Then, allow people to give away your free web design graphics, fonts, templates, etc. Just include your ad on them or require people to link directly to your web site. Make sure that you include a link back to your site in the copyright notice and require them to keep your copyright notice in tact.

4. Write an E-book. Allow people to place an advertisement in your free E-book if, in exchange, they give away the E-book to their web visitors or E-zine subscribers.

5. Write articles that pertain to your product or service. Allow people to reprint your articles on their website, in their E-zine, newsletter, magazine or E-books. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article.

6. You can easily find products on the Internet that will sell you a license allowing you to distribute the product free of charge to other people. Look for those products that provide "branding rights". That is where you can include your own name, website, and contact information.

The #1 Secret To Money Making Success

I'm about to share with you the common thread that ties together all successful entrepreneurs. This single trait launched the businesses of Microsoft, Intel, Hershey, JP Morgan, Amazon.com, Nike and so many others. It's not anything you'll be taught in Business School, it has nothing to do with accounting, and it doesn't even have anything to do with what you're selling or how you're selling it. I'll sum it up in two words:
GET STARTED!

That's it! It's laughable at first, but the more you think about it, the more it makes sense. It's the missing "million dollar" idea, hiding in plain sight. We hear variations of this all the time: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Think back to your first writing classes in school. How were we taught to write a paper? First we start with a basic outline - that's our money-making idea, whatever it may be. Next, we make a rough draft - that's right, we start working on something that we know for a fact will be imperfect. Finally, we use our rough-draft as a basis to begin revisions, eventually ending up with a final draft, the "perfect" version.

Planning for tomorrow is a sound business strategy. It's good to spend time thinking about the future, and how to handle the challenges it will bring. But, if we want to succeed, we must create the future by taking action today. We can't possibly predict everything that might happen once we start doing business. Microsoft started out selling programming software. After a few years, an opportunity presented itself to sell a computer Operating System to IBM, and they took it. The result was MS-DOS (which they didn't even create themselves, they bought it from someone else when they saw how much money they could make!), followed by Windows; quite possibly one of the most lucrative products ever. If Bill Gates and Paul Allen, the founders of Microsoft, had sat on the sidelines of the growing computer industry thinking "programming software is an OK idea, but it's not perfect, there really isn't a big enough market for it…we need something better", would they be where they are today? Would IBM have given them that golden opportunity? Not likely.

Did Michelangelo's sculpture of David emerge from a single tap of a chisel upon a block of marble? No, it took Michelangelo over 3 years of effort to release his masterpiece from the stone, one tiny chip of marble at a time. It probably wasn't very pretty after only 1 month, or even a year. But years of careful improvement resulted in a classic work of art.

I hope I've made my point. Do something. Do anything! If you do something, and the result isn't what you wanted, what's the worst that could happen? You either have something to improve upon, or you have a very good idea of an approach that doesn't work (think of it as addition by subtraction…the process of elimination). Either way, you're one step closer to success than you were before you started.

Go for it! Give it a shot! Your financial success is waiting for you, go and get it! Get Started Today!

Good Luck!
Jeff

4 Great Places To Find Top Network Marketing Training

In this article we want to take a look at some of the top places to find network marketing training. It only makes sense that you would seek out advice from people who are more successful than you.

For example if you are wanting financial advice would you talk to your broke a brother-in-law who is living in a mobile home down by the river? Of course not! The same thing is true when it comes to receiving quality network marketing training.

So where do you go?

1. You can start with the mlm company you are a member of. They will provide free training to you that other network marketers are using to promote their products and business opportunity.

Most companies offer a fast start training designed to help you quickly build your network marketing business. They understand that the attrition rate in their industry is high enough that the people who stick with it the longest are the ones who make money the fastest.

2. You can always look upline for quality network marketing training as well. If your immediate sponsor is new to network marketing then bypass him and go to his sponsor. Continue going upline until you find someone you are comfortable dealing with.

This is the beauty of having a networking business. The upline distributors have a vested interest in the success of their downline. Therefore they are willing to spend a little bit of time with you if you don't waste theirs.

3. There are many professional network marketers who make their living training people in the network marketing industry. You are probably familiar with Mark Yarnell, John Milton Fogg, and so on.

IContact Vs Aweber Complete Review

So what do network marketers really want from an auto-responder?

Free Dictionary: Definition

An auto-responder is a computer software that automatically answers e-mail sent to it. They can be very simple or quite complex . The main purpose of using an auto-responder is to keep in contact with your List. Your list consists of people who trust and follow you and respect you as a leader.

As they say "The money is in the List".

So it is a must that your auto-responder can do a couple of things very well.

1. Gets the e-mails to your List (spam filters are an issue and might prevent some messages to getting to their destination)
2. Manage the List (being able to filter who is on your list and the health of the List)
3. Easy of Use
4. Cost as List grows
5. Tracking
6. Affiliate program

The foundation to any successful network marketing business is always linked to a properly working auto-responder.

Comparison between Aweber vs iContact

1. Cost - $20/month (0-500 subscribers) vs $10/month (0-250 subscribers), $14 (500 subscribers)
2. Popularity Alexa - 256 vs 3,197
3. Ease of Use - Both are similar as both allow both HTML and TXT messages but converting a HTML to a TXT in iContact sometimes requires additional editing as words get merged. Very annoying. Also Aweber shows you the standard width so you can sentence wrap lines for smaller screens which most people have.
4. Tracking - iContacts method of tracking breaks it down per message sent and you can see the sent, opens, bounces, spams. Aweber also does that but take a bit longer to adjust to. Aweber seems to have more information and seems to focus more on a larger audience as each subscriber has more unique information tied to them. In iContact, you specify how many days after a subscriber joins to send the message. Aweber has how many days AFTER the message before. This makes total sense. If you have 100 auto-responder emails then you don't want to have to edit each iContact email and have to adjust how many dates from entry to send the email. The drag and drop order and how many days the next email should be released after the previous one is Aweber is much easier to handle.
5. Affiliate - 20% personal and 10% from 2nd level vs 25% on all sales. Aweber raising commissions from 20% to 30%, take effect today, April 8th, 2009.
6. Spam - Aweber. Their system seems much easier to pin point what is making your message a "spammy" message. iContact also has this feature but doesn't seem as integrated into the who editing process of a message. I find I can take a look and see which of my e-mails is more "spammy". This is important and Aweber stresses that by making sure we understand if one of my messages is on the border of being marked.
7. Global Fields - Very similar in function but Aweber makes it a bit easier to actually use the fields.
8. Signature -YOU MUST KNOW THIS FOR AWEBER. The Text e-mail will automatically attach your signature data you specify in your list options. The HTML WILL NOT. You must manually put "{!signature} " after your message. I thought that was odd that it wasn't automatically placed like in the Text version.

Sending a HTML and TXT message will help reduce your Spam score so make use of it when you can.

Use an auto-responder like Aweber or iContact that sends from YOUR e-mail and not not generated e-mail. Isoresponder sends out e-mail that is from a generated e-mail which makes it harder for users to lock in the senders single e-mail.

Pricing

iContact has a $1 trial. Aweber basically gives you a month to try the system out and if you don't like it they refund your money.

Aweber states: "If you are not satisfied with the results you see, contact us for a full, hassle-free refund."

Aweber policy on subscriber count.

"There are two types of leads (subscribers) that counts towards your pricing. 1. Active Leads which are leads subscribed to your list receiving messages. 2. Inactive leads which are leads that are unsubscribed. Although they are not receiving messages from you, their records still remain on your account but you can delete them whenever you want. Unconfirmed leads do not count towards pricing. These are subscribers that were sent the confirmation message but never clicked the link. They are automatically deleted from the system after 30 days since the confirmation link has an active period of 30 days you would not be charged for them."

So which one? In terms of which to chose, it really depends on your personal needs.

Both are great programs and if your list is small the only difference would be price until you go over 250 subscribers. If your goal is 250 subscribers then your thinking too small. Personally, I was fed up with iContacts HTML email copy to TEXT and having to correct the mistakes of that conversion.

My customizable marketing system that generates Leads even on auto pilot uses Aweber and that is more than enough reason for me to use it too.

Learn to explode your network marketing business using internet tools like Autoresponders. I personally use an Aweber Autoresponder to grow my network marketing business.
